Dr. Denny Chao received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine in 2015. After graduation, he completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry post-graduate program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He then pursued training in Prosthodontics followed by Maxillofacial Prosthetics, both of which was completed at UCLA. Dr. Chao is currently a Health Science Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Advanced Prosthodontics, UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Chao has been invited to speak at the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics (AAMP) and has also received AAMP’s Foundation Award in 2020. Dr. Chao’s research and interest include digital dentistry technology, digital workflow in clinical dentistry, material properties of CAD/CAM materials, and innovations in maxillofacial prosthetics. Dr. Chao is currently involved in predoctoral and postdoctoral teaching at UCLA.
